Superb Design

The Rokit 4 G3 consists of a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, which is paired with a 4-inch glass Aramid composite woofer. The tweeter handles the upper frequency response with the utmost clarity, guaranteeing an extended range up to an enviable 35kHz. The woofer is assisted by the sturdy cabinet design, and a front-firing port that is carefully calibrated to uphold an accurate bass response that is tight, unblemished, and capable of great power. The careful observation of the smallest of details, mean that the RP4 G3 translates your music with fidelity to preserve the musicality of your mix.

The KRK Rokit RP4 G3 speakers thrive on beating your expectations, and can quite easily handle low to high sound pressure levels (SPLs) without distortion making an appearance. Thanks to the KRK's precision limiters that are matched to the amplifiers in each speaker, you can rest assured that even when you crank up the volume, you're hearing a loud, clean sound. The radiused edges don't just look cool, they aid in reducing distortion caused by diffraction. Factory installed foam pads at the base of each cabinet, provide isolation between the speaker and the surface to improve response.

Proprietary Waveguide Technology

When setting up a stereo speaker pair, people often talk about the "sweet spot" or the optimal place to listen to your stereo mix between your speakers. Drift too far to the left or right, and you can start to lose your way. KRK have addressed this issue, so that once you find your "sweet spot" in your speaker placement, if you do happen to turn off-axis, the sound image remains consistent so that you don't suddenly lose the left or right side of a stereo mix. Therefore, you are free to move around your studio during mixdowns, recording sessions, etc., instead of having to sit patiently in the same place.

Rear Panel Controls and Outputs

On the rear panel of each speaker there are low and high-frequency adjustment controls, which enable attenuation of the separate frequency ranges to suit your personal preference, and in response to the acoustics of the room it is in. There are multiple connections out of each speaker (i.e. XLR, 1/4" and RCA) as well as a Master Volume Level control. KRK have quite literally thought of everything ¨C they have even included a highly useful auto-standby function, so should you fall asleep in the studio, or forget to switch them off, after 30 minutes they'll politely switch to standby.
